Freezer space

One thing I miss about living at home with my parents is all the extra freezer space. We always had a second full size freezer when I was growing up and it was always loaded with food. Now, with only this one small freezer I have to get creative on how to store our frozen goodies.

This may not look like a lot of food, but I assure we could eat like royalty for quite a while off this freezer. I am trying to waste as little food as possible, so if it can be frozen I freeze it. Let's make a list of everything in here......

Homemade:
Waffles
Pancakes
Burritos (plus 1 store bought)
Meatballs
Turkey Burgers
Hamburgers
Chopped Ham
Mashed Potatoes
Persimmon Cookies
4lbs of cooked ground turkey (in 1 pound baggies)
5lbs of cooked ground beef (in 1 pount baggies)
2 meat loafs
Lemon zest
Bread crumbs
Spaghetti sauce
Baked beans
Sliced bananas

Store bought:
Mixed berries
Frozen veggies
Schwan's sliced cheese
Left over Christmas cookies
Frozen Chicken (boneless/skinless and also breaded)
Frozen Oj concentrate
1 loaf Roman Meal bread
1 package OroWhat Sandwich Thins

As you can see there's a lot of food!!! I can only dream of what I could do with an extra feezer. All in good time!

You forgot 5 string cheese's.

Too bad you don't have a porch, What I did was... I mean I have a friend... who ran a power cord out his dryer vent to supply electricity to a small chest freezer outside.

Yeah, a porch would be nice.

I also realized later I forgot Chris' fish food! His fish have to have their shrimp and worms!
