Chris and I headed up to....aaahhuumm... UCLA territory this evening. I needed to pick up 3 dozen cookies for a birthday bash at work tomorrow and the ice cream shop/bakery I needed to go to is right across from the campus. We found a great parking spot (which still had 45 minutes left on the meter) and headed into
Diddy Riese. It is a great little shop with even better prices. One cookie ice cream sandwich was only $1.50 and it was huge.
Chris ordered a Macadamia nut cookie with rockie road ice cream.
I ordered sugar cookies with strawberry cheesecake ice cream.
3 dozen cookies for only $11.25. Not bad for the size and quality.
I don't know how often we'll head back up to Bruin territory, but at least now we have one more place to add to our dessert rotation.
