Year of the Cupcake!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR Everyone!!!!! I pray you all had a wonderful Holiday Season with friends and family and are enjoying the first few days of 2009.

Our Christmas was busy between both sides of the family, but full of fun, love and LOTS of food. As we recoup from our trip and get reorganized I hope to post a few blogs that I should have posted last month! I had many pictures and recipes saved to blog about, but due to our "hard drive" crashing I'm going to have to start from scratch. My goal for 2009 is to be more organized and not leave you all looking at the same posts for weeks on end (my sister has already pointed out to me she is done with Tortilla soup! Sorry Marcie!)

So to start this year off right, I have a post that I am SUPER EXCITED to share with you all! Today, I found a cupcake shop up in Beverly Hills that left me speechless. The shop is called Crumbs!

I actually saw it a few weeks ago with a friend, but didn't go in until today. It was amazing. The cupcakes were HUGE and absolutely beautiful. Not to mention so many different flavors and they all looked so delicious. The girl working in the store must have thought I was crazy by my reaction, but Chris just looked at her and said "Yeah she's just excited. She loves cupcakes!" After drooling on the glass over all my choices I finally settled on the Reeses cupcake. It was chocolate cake with peanut butter cream cheese frosting.

Though a little pricey, I think my pocketbook can afford a cupcake every now and then. I mean look at it, don't you want one now?!

I tried to convince Chris to get one too, but I think he was a little overwhelmed and not sure $3.75 was worth it for a cupcake. He did enjoy a few bites of mine and I'm pretty sure next time he'll get his own. I can't wait to take my Mom and Sister, when they come to visit in February.

That looks so yummy..... 3.75 sounds like a lot for a cupcake but how much do you pay for a cup of coffee.... at least 3.50 right.
When you look at it like that it sound like a good price. Although you are talking to the girl who doesn't mind paying 4.99 for some loaded nachos :) Love ya can't wait to see you next month
