Although my blog doesn't show it, I have been baking up a storm. Even with some of these less than pleasantly warm weekends, I have been busy baking cupcakes and other goodies. I thought I would share some pictures of a few different cupcakes I made. The first ones are of course for the 4th of July. My parents flew down to visit and I was so excited to make my beautiful cupcakes and have them get to see them in person and not through a picture!!! I would have to say these are my favorite so far!!!!
These next cupcakes I made for a baby shower we threw for my co-worker, Julie. As you can tell by the blue frosting She and her husband (A 3rd year dental student) are expecting a little boy. The cupcakes were fun to make and I was super excited to make the chocolate diaper pins. What I didn't know was the weekend I needed to make them it was going to be almost 100 degrees down here. Our kitchen is small with little air circulation, but with a fan pointed in I survived. The chocolate diaper pins almost didn't happen because as we would pipe them on to the wax paper they would melt even faster. I finally froze my metal cookie sheet and then put the waxed paper on the cookie sheet. We could only do 5 at a time then stick them back in the freezer. They turned out beautiful, but I wouldn't do it again in a place without air conditioning.

CHERYL! I LOVE YOU... you are so great :) I had no idea you had this great little blogsite. I NEVER get on myspace anymore but I wanted to check up on you so I ventured back, and saw you had this blog. You are awesome! I miss you.
