Broccoli Cheese Casserole (with Chicken)

Chris loves pretty much anything I make, but a while back he asked me to make a broccoli cheese casserole. I figured it should be simple enough and it was. I know there are many recipes out there, but here is the simple one I made in my head.

1/2 box bow tie noodles (Sorry I don't know the oz. I threw away the box)
1 1/2 cups cooked broccoli
1 cup cooked chicken cubbed
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
1 1/2 cups milk
Salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder to taste

-Boil water and cook noodles until al dente .
-While noodles are boiling melt butter in a small sauce pan. Once butter is melted stir in flour. Next slowly add the milk, stirring constantly. Cook over medium head until sauce thickens, stirring to keep it from burning on the bottom . Add Salt, pepper etc. until sauce tastes good to you.
-When noodles are cooked, drain and mix them with the broccoli, chicken and cheese.
-Spray a 7X11 baking dish and dump in the noodle mixture. Lastly, pour the sauce over the noodles and use a fork to stir around the sauce to make sure it covers the whole dish (you'll want to make sure it is mixed well so you don't have dry spots when it is done baking)
-Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes or until sauce is bubbling. ENJOY!!!

**This made great leftovers for lunch a couple days later. I just added a little milk and heated it the microwave and it was a good as the first time.
