Halloween Treats

I made some Halloween treats a little early this year. I had wanted to make them for the 4th of July but the Mars company didn't make Red, white and Blue M&M's this year. As soon as I saw the Halloween M&M's in the store I bought a bag and was ready to go, but I waited a few weeks so it was at least closer to Halloween.

Step 1: Unwrap the Hershey's Kiss'.
Step 2: Lay out all the pretzels (don't do more than 40 at a time or the chocolate cools before you get to them.)
Step 3: Place a Hershey's kiss on top of each pretzel.

Step 4: Place tray in 350 degree oven for 4 minutes.
Step 5: Remove the tray from the oven and push 1 M&M in the middle of each Hershey's kiss.
Step 6: Allow Chocolate to cool and harden.
Step 7: ENJOY!!!
I learned a few things I while making these yummy treats and figured you like to know so you don't make the same mistakes I did.

1. Make these treats with plenty of time for the chocolate to harden. I did not do so and then I had to flash freeze them to be able to take them to school. A recipe I just read says to place them in the fridge for 10 minutes. I may try that next time.

2. When trying to make these in a 250 degree oven the chocolate drys out and doesn't melt as well. It is better to make them in a 350 degree oven and do just a few minutes.

3. When purple M&M's go in the freezer they become pale purple M&M's.
