Flower Garden

Tomorrow is my last cake decorating class. I'm sad for the class to be over, but it will be nice not to rush home on Mondays anymore; We'll see how tomorrow goes. Chris has Jury duty and with only one car it could make for an interesting day. I'm already prepared for class with my supplies together and my list checked twice. At least if we are rushing, I know I won't forget anything.

I spent my morning making flowers out of Royal Icing for my last cake tomorrow. We made a few in class last week, but the teacher said we need a lot for a pretty cake. I decided to do my homework and am very proud of my flowers. I'll be sure to post about my cake after tomorrow's class, but for now I thought I'd show you my flowers.

Here is my flower garden. (No drip system needed here!) I even made a butterfly. My pink one broke, but at least my cake will have one!

And here are my best of each flower. I'm still far from perfect, but with each flower I get a little better. At least I'm building my hand strength and confidence each time I practice.

Pansy

Rose
Violet

Daffodil

Apple Blossom

Leaf

And last but not least Mr. Butterfly
