Some days I come home from work and feel well........ unappreciated. I know Christopher is happy to have me there and appreciates it, but the students I work with can sometimes be very frustrating. I sometimes compare the 20some, 30some and 40some year old dental students to the 9 and 10 years olds I taught at the after school program. Lets just say some days I long for the kids who were so easy to please. All it took was a game of freeze tag and I was the greatest ever. I can tell you dental students require a lot more time, a ton more energy and somedays more patience than I have.
However, somedays the students do let me know that they do appreciate me. It usually comes in the form of food and I am okay with that. I came in to work today and two students brought me this cake to say thanks (or to bribe me, but it won't work. Jokes on them.) Either way, Chris and I enjoyed a nice dessert tonight!

What kind of cake was it? I hope it was chocolate!!! Anything else would just be a waste of food. That looks like a ton of frosting? Did you peel off the huge blue flower or eat that chunk of lard?
Well I am glad you got a special gift today. Food generally is a great way to go. So I hope you had a pleasant dessert tonight.
