Chocolate Chip Cookies

Let me just say it now for all the world to know.... I am NOT a good cookie maker. That or my oven sucks at baking at even temperatures. I do actually know that the latter is the reason for my inconsistent cookies, but it doesn't really make me feel much better. As someone who once (and still sometimes does) aspired to be a Pastry Chef, I am ashamed to say Martha, would hang her head in shame at my cookies. The good thing is at the end of the day it isn't Martha who is eating my chocolate chip cookies, but my wonderful husband who thinks they're the best (even when I remind him they aren't.)

I dream of the day of being able to buy a brand new oven that will bake at even temperatures AND has a window for viewing the goods inside. I know I dream big, but sometimes big dreams have big rewards!!!!!
